General Terms and Conditions for Participants to the 5th International Conference on Foodomics

Registration Fees

All participants must pay the registration fee prior to arrival at the conference venue. In order to have the abstract included in the Conference Book, registration fee must be paid before 31st December 2017! On desk registrations are not allowed

Posters SET-UP and removal

The authors are asked to remove their poster before 12.00 on Friday, January 12th. The displays are numbered in the same way as the poster abstracts in the Conference abstract book. Posters will be discarded after the deadline, they will not be kept or mailed to the authors

Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations must be notified 10 day prior the first day of ICF2018 (31st December) by email to and to Registration fees will be refund less an administration charge of 15% of the Conference fee. Cancellations made after the 31st December deadline as well as "no-shows" are liable for the full registration fee. Participants must make sure they receive an acknowledgement of their cancellation from the Contact Person. Only this will confirm that their request has been received and processed

Personal Insurance

International Conference on Foodomics is not responsible for healthcare, dental and ambulance services during the conference. The Organizing Committee strongly recommends that participants take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance, which should cover the possibility of flight cancellation due to strikes and other causes. Therefore, The Organizing Committee and its local co-organizers accept no responsibility of any nature whatsoever for personal injury, death, loss or damage to property or participants however caused or arising

Delegate fees include: 

congress bag, book of abstracts, admission to scientific sessions, 3 coffee breaks,

a work lunch (11th January) and the Welcoming Special Buffet (10th January)


Tickets for the Gala Dinner evening are priced at € 40

Poster Size


Poster size must be 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) and the format must be vertical (portrait)


Please ensure that your poster does not exceed the following dimensions:

Height 110 cm x width 90cm


Hand your poster to the Secretariat during “Reception of Registered Participants” on 10th of January, they personally provide to tack’em up with fixation material

Abstracts will be considered for acceptance and included in the Abstract Book only if the presenting Author has paid registration fees by 10th November (oral presentations) or by 8th December (posters). No more than 2 abstracts can be presented by the same Author
